DETAILS: Responding to calls regarding ice cream truck that runs at night in central TROY. Dispatch received 3 unrelated calls this week reporting ice cream truck cruising downtown bars and selling to intoxicated patrons. Reports indicate the truck starts its run from this area. Possible merchant license violation, hours of service violation, health violation. Possible territorial dispute with local trucks.

DETAILS: Acquired ice cream truck fitting description, heading toward downtown TROY. Driver appears to be wearing white uniform. Male. Long black hair. Black gloves. Distinct facial features. Officer made eye contact. Subject smiled. No seatbelt evident.

DETAILS: Parked squad car and followed on foot. Night watchman at RENSSELAER COUNTY MORGUE reports seeing no vehicles pass. Watchman nervous. Officer circling around to back of facility.
